Glaring oversite on my end. Forgot to get a title notorized for a trade today. Any ideas where to find one?

Do any of the grocery stores near you have a bank branch inside? Around here, they are open on Sunday.

Those are some good ideas. No luck on any Sunday branch banking around here. Nova, I from MN - no way your getting me back there, like not having to fight rusted fasteners in sub zero conditions!

I'm in PA. I have a lady down the road with a notary sign out by her mailbox. Did a car sale there on a weekend. Just called ahead before we were coming over. In PA we can't have open titles so technically you have to go with the buyer to the notary. Try your yellow pages and see if there is someone like that near you.

heh.. here in NJ we do not need notaries to sell or buy a car.. but you can't buy or sell a car from a dealer on sunday. They are legally required to be closed

I -like- not pumping gas. It is also cheaper here than most of the states around us

On my end it was much to do about nothing. I pulled out the title and found I had it notorized back in Oct when I first put it up for sale.

The other party recently relocated from South Dakota and was not familiar with the notory process. I followed him to a couple of spots and then left him on his own to find a notory. It took him a couple hours to track one down.

Overall a good day, turned a 96 V6 Dakota 2wd with 158k into a 97 Triumph Daytona T595 with 21k. It needs a rear tire and chain/sprocket set, but otherwise solid.
