She also told officers at the scene that this is the second time she has done this at Green's...Wonder if this was BEFORE or AFTER her purchase(s).

Can anyone find me a situation that causes a modern vehicles brakes to suddenly not work? I've been behind the wheel of some scary stuff, and I've NEVER experienced brake failure. Yeah, the first (and only) time I drove my z-car after it's 25 year nap the brakes didn't work well, but they did work a little and eventually stopped the car. Seems odd that it only happens to really old people in very new cars...
They should make that spot her "reserved parking", and put up a special monument.
The monument should be large, stainless steel, and reinforced with concrete about 4 feet deep.
Methinks the brake and gas pedals somehow got switched as she pulled into the space. I have a friend who was in a doctors office in a strip mall while a car came flying through the front window. Same story-the brakes didn't work. Problem is, everyone in the office saw the tires spinning and heard the engine screaming as the car pushed the front desk into the back wall.
