Exactly two years ago, my position was eliminated and I lost my job through no fault of my own. Like in my previous role, I have been exceeding all expectations in my new position, even rolling with the punches after a buyout and myriad of changes. Today (again, exactly two years to the day that I was let go last time) my position was eliminated.
OK, very funny world. What have I done to piss you off so much? Can you let up for like, 5 minutes?
That sucks man. I suggest stealing a red stapler and burning down the building.
Well done, to stand your ground and keep your dignity by not being That Guy who schmoozes and brown noses whomever it takes keep from being cut. I raise an ale to you, sir.
Crap. That sucks man. And I thought I was having a bad day ...

I actually do have red Swingline Model 737
At least you have accomplishments to brag about. That will help going forward. I had never tangible. I just worked myself half to death for the bastards. All I’ve got to show for it is a bad back and bad feet.
Did you at least take a dump on your way out and not flush?

I guess there is no transferring to some other part of the company?
I know that feel. I was laid off in July 2015 (after just giving up my house and getting a divorce) only to be laid off again 6 months later.

Man, I can't offer anything but condolences and best wishes, but you have both of those in spades.
