Tell me this isn't at least a little tempting...
Wife has a no corvette rule.
If mama ain't happy, nobody's happy. Beyond that - corvettes are a little more common than I'm thinking - even the z06s. If I sell off the herd it should be for something you don't see everyday.

You will probably be the only one in the state. Only 5000 imported in 69 and 70. I had one until it got totaled by a Cowboy Cadillac.

"Something you don't see everyday", DD-able, and fun...
I'm going to have to go back to my Z3 M Coupe suggestion.
As an added bonus, they hold their value well too.

Not even a little. It's an ugly, ill proportioned quirky Euro POS from the 70's. If it had a Citroen badge it would be relegated to the annals of Eurotrash mistakes. That it has a prancing horse should not change that.

In the summer I pass a guy driving one of those just about every day on the way to work. I really like the way they look and sound, so yes it would be very tempting.
I'd find myself the cleanest 911 I could find. A back seat would be a prerequisite. 2 seat with a modicum of practicality? Elise or M Coupe, no question.
What happens when you need to pick up a few groceries?

There is more room behind those first six cases. I'm pretty sure it will hold the other four. I know I've carried 5 cases of 22oz. bottles flat on the trunk floor.
I believe my record for stuff in the back is something like: 2 desktop computers w/ monitors, 2 sleeping bags, and inflatable air mattress, 2 suitcases, a couple boxes of books, and a trunk with enough paintball supplies for 3 people.
On another practical note, I could fit a full set of tires for the Miata in the trunk of my M Coupe. Tires for the M Coupe, I would either have to deflate them, or stick three in the trunk, and one on the passenger seat (wrapped in a trash bag or something).
