One thing I noticed is I've never seen any track, anywhere, with that much curbing. I know F1 tracks tend to have more, but seemed like it was pretty much every corner. If you could get the chassis to rub off the curb and stay composed, you could own that place. Should be an absolute hoot for V8 Supercars since that seems to be the fast way to drive one of those.
I'll let you know what it is like from a driver's perspective when my vintage club has an event there next year.
I'm sure I'll be telling myself the whole time "this track sucks, I can't pass, that corner is too tight, there is too much curbing, I wish I was at Monza instead, wah, wah wah."

Well, when you guys are all billionaires, I hope you build racetracks that move with the land, so the rest of us, having never driven them, can talk about what pieces of E36 M3 they are. Just keep in mind, Texas is pretty berkeleyin flat!
Every track is challenging. If it's not, you're not doin it right.
I was worried about AMP because it was designed by Tilke & Co. and I envisioned it being as bland as a new-generation F1 track. I could not have been more wrong. Speaking of a racetrack that 'moves with the land' - every single brake zone and corner happens during a camber or elevation change, and the main 'straight' is only straight at the end. Modern F1 cars could never race there, and that suits me just fine.

Impressive, it seems like this was just a pile of dirt not too long ago!
As those of you know that have driven a track with elevation changes, video never does them justice. I've been around this track when it was under construction and I can tell you that turn 1 is a lot more intimidating than it looks in the video. Plus there are a number of blind corners. It isn't a Road Atlanta, for sure, but it isn't a Sebring, either.

shoot, pretty much nobody can ... what with their noise restrictions ( 98dB and no turn-downs allowed )
I can say for certain that this track is going to SUCK in Forza. Understeer off of every corner like every other modern F1 track.
Real life, not so sure, but I suspect that for anything without serious aero, this is going to be a stop-and-go track. V8 Supercars will be interesting...
