My wife and I were headed west on US30 towards Ft Wayne IN to have a nice meal together when I spot a nicely patina covered blue Karman Ghia on a trailer behind a Ford Escape, I took a second look and noticed a Grassroots style Air intake protruding from the rear engine cover.
I get all excited and speed up, on the side of the Escape is a GRM decal and on the rear the famous "Hong Norr" racing decal.
My wife was wondering what the hell was going on as I acted like I had seen fuel prices at 50c a gallon.
We did get their attention and they figured out I wasn't road raging them but just a fan.
Although I think they were somewhat concerned for a minute there.
