Note, this is a real thread, by me, drainoil

As many likely did yesterday, and will do this weekend, I fired up my good old charcoal grill. Burger, brats, chicken, mm good. Now I've used charcoal for many years and always had decent results. Now has anyone used an outdoor grill with electric sourced heat? If so, do you have a particular make/model that you like. Not sure why, I but I never really gave much thought, until yesterday, to the very unhealthy petroleum vapors going directly into my food as happens with old fashioned charcoal and lighter fluid grilling.

Skip the lighter fluid, get a chimney instead.

Nothing comes close to charcoal for taste.

I have an electric that I use indoors during lousy weather.
