FYI - Pandora is also available on several CDMA phones from Sprint.
It's available on the Samsung Instinct, which my wife has. I have the Blackberry curve, and it's not available for me, but Slacker Radio is.
I use Pandora whenever I'm working on my car. I like listening to random radio, not my own music, so I just enter a random band name and listen away. In that setting, it's background music, anyway.
I plan on getting an FM modulator so that I can use my wife's Instinct with Pandora in the car. We have good signal everywhere here, so we don't have any issues with skipping. Cuts out a satellite radio bill.
If you're looking at the Instinct, beware that it's only available if you have an unlimited data plan through Sprint. Otherwise, Sprint refuses to activate the device.
