Very short commute- 20'. Flexible schedule. Very few cranky customers. Interesting work. BUT- no paid vacation, no discounts on interesting stuff, but spend very little on gas. Occasionally get to travel to exotic islands at company expense, and get to sleep with my secretary any time I want to.
I basically manage myself, get to listen to music, and have a relatively flexible schedule as I need to take care of errands.

Sounds like my job.
Best perk was the more I slept with the boss the better my job security.
4/10 schedule. Previously, always worked M-F, 8-5. I can't believe how easy it is to get haircuts, shopping, vehicle service, etc. done on a Monday. I hardly ever use vacation time b/c every weekend is a three day.
Severe back and knee pain, a constant headache and oh yeah a company vehicle.

best schedule evar! Used to have it - that was probably one of my favorite employers...
Access to a complete automotive repair shop, parts at cost, and great coffee from our new starbucks machine in our customer lounge.

Relatively flexible schedule. Discounts at a lot of places. Biggest tangible thing is a company park (need a badge to get in) that has minigolf, about 10 volleyball courts, 20 tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, fishing ponds, kiddie pool, big person pool, and a Lazy River.

Ugh, same here. I miss that schedule so bad!

What's wrong with 5-6 12+hr days never knowing when you'll be home or if you'll even be home?

It's VERY similar to your job. The boss elected that she didn't want us to take on any additional projects though, so I don't anticipate my workload increasing any time soon.

Where is that? NICE!
Middle of nowhere, Illinois.
Paycheck, crappy healthcare, poorly managed 401k.
I rather eliminate all the perks for a larger paycheck.

Company car, gas card, work out of my house. Regularly visit auto repair businesses and see the stuff in the back of the shop. No time card. My boss calls me once or twice a month to make sure I'm still alive. When customers call, 90% of the time I can tell them to call someone else.
All this almost makes the 10 grand pay cut I took to come here worth it.
Driving cars and car tech that you won't see for a few years. If ever.
And one concept car that I got to drive. And previous take homes of Aston Martins.
it depends on where I am working.
General perks of working in a Casino:
On site parking: they used to make us park out on a special lot coming into the city, now we can park in a special garage on property
Food: yes, they feed us, but some places it is debatable if it is edible
Discounts: While we cannot get rooms for cheap in AC.. most of the places allow us to get rooms in sister properies anywhere in the world at a discount
Uniforms: uniformed employees get free uniforms
Insurance: Many of the casinos have an agreement with NJ manufactorers to provide cheap car insurance for them
Cell Phones: Sprint works with the Borgata to provide a discount
There are a few more, but it all depends on which casino you are talking about. A few of them consider it a perk that you even have a job
Free Costco Executive Membership.
Health Insurance was nice when I spleened myself.

Free Subway and bus rides, a shiny gold badge that makes foreign girls think I'm important, and reasonably priced health insurance,
Perks of my job???
Hep A/B/C, VRE, MSRA, AIDS/HIV, herpes... name a disease and I have been exposed to it.
Company truck I get to take home, gas paid for in it and paid for health insurance. Dealer parts at cost. Add to it that its a small buisness so there isn't any corperate bean counters trying to berkeley the people doing real work to save a dollar. The only downsides are working on cars when its 115 degrees out and the ~20% of customers that knowingly or unknowingly are complete pains in the ass.
I consider myself quite fortunate and happy to have the job I have now.
