It's the best opthalmology website I have EVER visited.
(really though, it is pretty good...maybe the blue would throw off some people that are color blind though? might be something to consider...)
Blue should be safe for color blindness. It's generally green and red that can cause problems. There are web site color blindness checkers if your curious, though.
I think it's quite attractive, if perhaps a bit over-styled.
I HATE the talking dude. I'm betting you didn't have much choice on that. At the very least it would be nice if he didn't cover/block the nav.
Grab the firefox web dev toolbar and check it with stylesheets and images off. That will do two things... first, you'll see it more as the search engines see it so you can better optimize there, and you'll see it more as the poorly sighted people using screen readers see it. In that market, those people may be significant. There are also site-to-text converters to also give you a better idea on both those things. In a pinch, just pull it up in the old LYNX text browser.
want to shoot tiny talking man very badly. If you have the power to delete him please do.
other than that... consolidate... ie, special offers on lasik, information on lasik, other E36 M3, all needs to go under one heading. perhaps, "lasik"
and all the stylized awards at the bottom of the page need to go under one heading. like "awards."
I like pages that open in one page without needing me to scroll up or down. I like one window holding all the information I need to navigate to the page that I want, without needing to scroll.
It's very professional looking.
Loose the dude - those "walk on" actors are almost directly associated with MLM/affiliate linking spam sites.
Also, have you checked your site for accessibility? If I was blind, would I be cursing and swearing to get to the proper content?
thank you....
any other suggestions? this is open. and I agree about the guy.
did it load quickly?
navigation? easy / hard?
problems with any menu's?
directions / contact information?
I'm meeting with the marketing director again.
This is IT vs Marketing
Loaded a bit slow, otherwise pretty good. The rollover menu stuff goes darker rather than lighter as you run the mouse over it, I'd be tempted to make the 'drop downs' brighter, to catch the eye. I see that as of 9/26, the aggravating talking guy is gone. Good show.
Loaded fine for me, and looks good, aside from the incredibly bright blue, I would tone that down a bit.

I'm colorblind. It's fine.
A side note--I think I'm now qualified to perform Lasik surgery in the state of Michigan thanks to your site.
(It looks good!)
If you were really a jedi knight you'd program the site to open my cd rom tray, aim the little laser through the slot and perform lasik on me as I browse the site.
Then you could send me lots of bills like all my other medical providers.
The talking guy was there when I tried it. When you go bald in the manner that he is, Shave your head. If he can't see that the island of hair at the front of his head looks rediculous, he shouldn't be pointing lazers at peoples eyes.
Otherwise everything worked fine, but his hair distracted me. He reminded me of a coach in my school that used to sit in the shower after gym to make sure we didn't miss anything.

This is an excellent idea... can we shoot him with mouse clicks please? An animated death sequence would be awesome. Otherwise - lose it.
A little busy - kinda yelling at me. I love the idea of being able to shoot tiny mohawk man. Keep him if we can shoot him or hit him with a shovel, crowbar or other zombie-appropriate implement.
