Waiting....
We made no holiday plans at all this year.
Julie, my wife, is at week 39.....
We are at the doctor's office right now for possibly the last check up.
This, only SWMBO is "only" week 38 and we are just waiting with the car packed and ready to go..... anytime now...... so no heavy drinking for me. That and I am watching a very pregnant woman reorganize our kitchen for the 3rd time this month.

If we're insured with Allstate are we protected from repercussions related to MAYHEM like yours?
Home with Mrs Aussie, our son and niece are home from College, 3 bottles of Scotch, 6 bottles of Rum and few of their family members. Rockstar on the 72 inch TV.

Just had a Cape Codder with DW, DD#2 is sick in bed so I don't have to worry about her, and I'm grilling lamb chops (rare) as we speak. Champagne's on ice. T minus 2:18.
I'm going to bed in ten minutes.
Have fun everyone- be safe!
3 bags of oysters, gone. I'll be headed to bed myself before too long.
Santa even stopped by to eat.
Happy New Years boys and girls. Here's hoping 2016 is a good one.
We made it!!!!!!!; karaoke and all.
I DD'd a friend and 2 AZNs tonight.....I also sharked people's beer money with the pool table. Poor bastards.
Tiger Mom and I went out to eat at our local (and very authentic) Mexican place. She got a whole fish which pleases her more than anything.
Then home by 9 to watch a couple of movies, pausing at 11:50 to watch the ball drop. (Gotta say, Seacrest was pretty dull).
Nice and relaxing, I liked it. Everyone have a great 2016, May your project cars make it out of the garage and back onto the street!
Anybody else feeling a bit rough today?
In reply to gearheadmb:
Nope, I was in bed asleep by 10:30. I feel great.
Others in my household, not so much. I cheerfully woke them up to a big plate of bacon, eggs and cream of wheat for breakfast.
In reply to dean1484:
That looks like a jar full of hangover.

Sheepishly raises hand. I had a few too many beers and shots last night. Headache this morning, first time in years I have been hungover

It's New Years Eve. Still don't know if we should go out, stay in, take a drive, or go to bed.
What are your plans for this years' turning of the calendar?
first time I've looked at this thread ... I really hope you choose something other than being on the road ...
new years eve HAS to be the scariest night of the yr to be on the highway
I was a bartender/waiter ... and a consummate drunk ... how I made it through the 70's - 80's I'll never know
I know all about the "fun" of going out on new years eve ... but hopefully if you or any of the rest of our gang did go out ... whether to party or not, they made it through safely
that said ... HAPPY NEW YEARS everyone

I have worked the last 25 NYEs.. I would not know what to do if I actually had one off
