Is that the wrong link? Or is there something in the background that I'm missing? Not only did he actually show the whole truck in some of the pictures and make them larger than a postage stamp, but he photographed any spots that looked damaged so you had a pretty good sense of its condition.

So, I posted a wanted ad to see if I could come up with a '60s GM pickup truck. I said I wanted a project to restore.

I included this line (copy/paste), "I'll be honest with you, I'm looking more for a seller who thinks, "I really need the space more than this old truck...maybe someone will put it to good use" rather than, "I bet these old trucks are worth a lot...I wonder how much some sucker will gimme for it?!

And today some guy emails me and say's his dad has this truck...not sure how much he wants for it, but if I'm interested he'll find out.

I see what appears to be a not-completely-rusty shortbed on two wheels, missing some bodywork, brakes, gauges, a fender, etc. I'm thinking...If he comes back at $1,000, We're in the ballpark, because I'd like to give $500 or maybe for it (if my assessment of it's condition is reasonable).

I inform him that I am, in fact interested, and would like to know a price and if they have a good title for it.

What do you think he came back with as a price?
