We just picked up an early Boxster and this advertisement always wowed me while I was searching. $70,000 for a 2000 Boxster???? Remove a zero and I would probably still skip over the ad.

It's called "riceboy math." You add up all the manufacturer's "up to" claims to the original rated horsepower of your engine to find your new horsepower.

Ad said: This is a very rare vintage scooter that I picked up at a yard sale. I don't know a lot about it it is a 2 cycle motor, it has all the bells and whistles ,headlight ,horn ,signals, and brake light. The scooter runs very good has front and rear disc brakes. Was probably top of the line when it was built. Thank you very much

It's only $200 but I was expecting something very different when I clicked on "Very rare vintage scooter."

Wheels/Tire packages on Craigslist have gotten ridiculously high lately. Do people actually sell their E36 M3 (s-word) rims with all-season worn out tires for $800?

Even better-New oil pan that is sealed shut so extractor must be used for oil changes

OoooKay! That's a great idea. So you can't change the oil yourself and there is 10's of thousands of miles of sludge on the bottom of the pan that will never be drained.

not really a delusional find. more like an A+ would buy find but I'm still a few months out from pulling the trigger on another car. I have been all over the board on shopping but am currently narrowed in on Crown vics and the like.

2008 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police interceptor - $4750 http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/4643141146.html

Was trying to find a more loaded civilian model like an LX sport but god damn some of these undercover P71s look realllly nice for the price. I feel like I should be buying this now and turning right around to sell my current car instead of waiting a few months as planned.

That thing is actually physically painful to look at. Especially those wheels.
