I know the Roadmaster wagon is pretty cool and all but.... $14K!?!?! You could have at least cleaned the dust off the gauges before asking top dollar.

Not sure what's crack pipe about that one. Seems like a legit import of a rare car.

Not even that nice.
-crap shocks and springs
- spare crappier shocks
- Spec Miata (heavy and cheap) wheels
- stock 15x7 BBS wheels (these are worth a surprising amount of money, especially if they have center caps)
- cheap pistons and rods, but no documentation other than "trust me"
- improperly installed harnesses
- aftermarket seats that don't work with harnesses
- the obvious paint and interior problems
- ready to be turned into a Spec Miata once you change the suspension bushings, springs, shocks, engine, roll bar, seats and find a hard top.
So, it's a shagged out, poorly modified car that is given an attempt at legitimacy because it is a "track car".
Well, the price may not be out of line on this one, but WTF is up with the ad? It almost reads like scam...maybe?
Why do I have an urge to buy this? Fite tires and slammed on the ground would be a blast. Already street legal....

I hate seeing you post in this thread because I know whatever delusional craigslist ad you've found is going to be local.

I have been looking for a VW rail for awhile.... I just don't think I can get my wife on board with an unfinished MR2 project... That one is plated already..... saves a lot of trouble, and its closer to you than me!
Careful when looking for street legal sandrails, lots of "legal" ones out there running around on random old VW titles.

His description needed a little fixing, so I helped him out:
"I smoked a big fat joint last week, there wasn't really any smoke tho..."
A Civic hatchback for 3,500. Only 168,000 miles.
Unfortunately, crap like this is fairly common in my area, though I have net seen one painted like this before. Probably because they end up totalled on the first drive after the rotors are painted, yep, ENTIRE rotor painted.

Wow. That's 10 minutes from me. I'm tempted to check it out just to see it up close.
