Very Delusional... $14,000 for a E30 325e?

http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/1854789337.html

Dent free Exterior (originally blue/silver) has been completely repainted with racing stripes replicating the German flag(rally-style). The roof is Red, Black and Yellow as well as the side mirrors and along the side of the hood and trunk. Both the front and back original BMW symbol has been replaced with a carbon fiber one. Headlights have been updated with HID lights "angel eyes" and currently have red LED as a halo. The front license plate holder has been replaced with a strip that is even/smooth from left to right. The rear tail lights are smoke-red. All wheels are 18" black powder coated (paint won't come off) and the outer lip has a yellow and red stripe. Both back tires are brand new and the front tires have 90%+ tread remaining. The interior was originally navy blue. All interior parts including (but not limited to) seats, door panels, head rests and the dashboard have been replaced with hand-sewn red and black leather. All floor mats have been custom made and are black with a red "BMW" logo. The roof (interior) was also replaced with an ivory/off-white suede. The headrests all read "M3" including the two back seats which were not originally included with any BMW of that year. The steering wheel is hand stitched, as well as the shift knob and hand break. The steering wheel has the German striping on the bottom and the M striping on the top of the wheel (also hand-sewn). Both seals on the front and back windshield have been replaced as well as the sunroof seal. The engine is original and is in excellent condition. Recently a tune-up was performed and items such as the timing belt and water pump were replaced. Mileage is no longer counted but is estimated at 150,000. The car has German suspension including Bilstein shocks and H&R springs. This car rides extremely well and has given us no problems. Regular maintenance is performed to ensure that it stays that way. The idea is not to sell this car as a commuter car, rather as something someone can show off and maybe do an engine upgrade; and it is definitely one of the kind. The stereo is an upgraded kenwood, and the speakers are infinity as well as an amplifier and a subwoofer in the trunk. New front and reat bumper spoiler was recently added as well. If you want any more information, photos or to see the car, please email me.

I wanted an aircooled when I was a teen. Saw them all the time in the paper for $100, 200. Then, as I was preparing to strike, the New Beetle came out, and suddenly all the aircooled prices went through the roof. Rusted out junk couldn't be had for under $1000, usually a bunch more.

$3k for an aircooled sounds about right...

Thank goodness the hood and wheels were kept inside. It will look brand new when you bolt those on...
