Even better: When the crazies come to the door, throw a $1,000 on the lawn and yell, "Fight!" and watch the hilarity ensue as they beat the E36 M3 out of each other.

odds never change ...as long as the amt of # to match are always the same, then the odds, each drawing, are the same as they were the previous drawing ... the same as they will be for the next drawing .... these odds aren't dependent on how many draws there have been, or how many # have been picked
That's not right. Yes, the odds of a single ticket hitting the jackpot are always the same. (1 in 292 million). But the odds that the jackpot will be won by SOMEONE continue to rise as ticket sales increase.

yes and no ... this argument has been hashed out several times in the past .. don't remember the outcome ... odds are each side continues to disagree with the other ... I'm not all that strong .. ok, pretty weak actually ... with the rules of odds and statistics ...

but it always looks to me as if each drawing is it's own drawing ...

the odds of someone winning does go down as more and more take the chance ... but the odds of the winning numbers showing up on some ones ticket remain the same (as you pointed out)

the other side of the argument is something I don't remember ... didn't agree, so closed my mind to it LOL
