I'd do that to my wife if she drank diet Coke. She'd laugh her butt off and then make me clean it up.

A couple weeks ago, my wife knocked a bottle off the counter. The cap broke. Soda went everyberkingwhere. It took forever to clean up, and we're still finding sticky spots. That ain't funny. I'd be pissed as hell if someone did that prank to me

Just Mentos. FWIW, Diet Coke has no sugar, so it's not sticky. Just messy and it'll stain carpet or fabric if you don't clean it up quick.

Yeah, it's got something to do with the pockmarked surface of the mento creating turbulence in the carbonated liquid. We actually used that as one of the events at our motorsports club's annual picnic :-)
