Did anyone use a realtor to find a rental?
I'm still in the search for a rental house. I have a house that we are waiting to hear on, so I have to keep my options open in case this falls through.
My buddy used a realtor when looking for a house to rent around Atlanta. He said that they have rental listings that aren't advertised in the papers or online. Rental houses are very thin around here, but there are a lot of houses for sale.
So would it help to go this route?
Use every avenue you can find. Not many Realtors handle rentals so it can be tough to find those that do.
I found the one I am about to start renting on a realtors website.
Got my apartment through a realitor. Worked out really well, would do again.
yes. she showed us about 8 rental houses, and we settled on one that was good enough. i think she got the first month's rent as her commission for brokering the deal.
We ve rented and it was always word of mouth; my brother rents and he went to a realtor and asked him to find houses like he wanted then he asked if there were people who couldn't sell their house who may want to rent them. The realtor set it all up; in the current market there are plenty of empty houses.
Thanks guys, maybe this will work out of the one house doesn't.
I've seen people using realtors for rental on TV shows. I guess it's sign of the tmies. More people are needing to rent and fewer can now buy. It also helps the owner's get renters that are "pre-screened".
