My wife and I met in Atlanta in 1994. While dating, we occasionally went to a club there that was in a warehouse district, I believe somewhere off Piedmont Road near where it crosses under I-85. It was a pretty big place, very dark, and was a cross between a rave and a light S&M show. For some reason, we were thinking about that place recently but neither of us can recall the name. It was not Masquerade.
For anyone who was in Atlanta in the '95-'99 era, does that ring any bells? Can you solve the puzzle for us??
Geebus. Leave it to this board to come up with an answer in 30 seconds!
Thanks DILYSI!
Oh lord. I started at GT in 94. Those were the days.
There was a decent blues bar next door. I never felt all robert smith enough to venture in there.

So you and your future wife went to a light S&M show club right after you first met? I am so jelly!

It was the Chamber. The rest of the vampires hung out at The Vault on Roswell Road.
From what I gather, it was never as "kinky" as people made it out to be. Mostly just a bunch of goth dorks being all emo together. Go to the beach, get some vitamin C and a handgun, and HARDEN THE berkeley UP types.
Agreed Poopie. It was fun for an every once and awhile change of pace, but nothing serious went on.
