Random drive...The wife and I climbed in our 1978 Delta 88 and headed out of town. No destination in mind, just out for a drive. We ended up two states away in Tennessee. Nothing like a three day random drive to clear the head. We used to enjoy doing that, then life and the kids showed up. Haven't done that in ten years.
Then there are those of us who don't understand the coffee thing either.
I've tried it a couple of times, even the fancy stuff, and it tastes like garbage to me. If I've got to load something up with sugar and cream to make it tasty I'll pass.
A glass of freshly brewed iced tea on a warm day, doesn't get better than that. Until you bring out the libations of course!
I go to the Starbuck 1/4 mile from my house 5-6 times per year. They look at me as if I am green and landed a flying saucer in the parking lot when I order a small black coffee. They seem expect everyone to buy the $6 candy bar in a cup of coffee.

I hate bad coffee.
I'm proud to say I understand both. And I agree that Starbucks coffee sucks. Dunkin donuts, Bob Evans, or 8 o'clock at home for me.

Truly good coffee is really a rarity. Chances are you didn't get a cup of it.
