one of my friends is one of those loud mouth Rush Limbaugh/Sarah Palin/ Glenn Beck/Sean Hannity loving conservatives. i was going to put an Obama bumper sticker on the back of his 89 Mustang and 87 150, but i decided that i didn't want to get shot and i didn't want to be seen carrying around anything Obama related.
Just to prove everyone wrong, I saw a Prius today with an anti-Obama sticker while driving in southern California. I didn't (and still don't) know what to make of it.

I have, on more than one occasion, been told "well it looks like everyone else is gonna vote for this guy, so I'm gonna vote for him too!" These people are out there...
I refuse to get politics on my cars, but the next time I'm living somewhere with a lawn, I'm going to put a bigass "don't vote!" sign out on it when an election rolls around. That should piss off just about everyone.

I've got a "Ron Paul 2008" sticker in reserve that someday I'll break out and stick on one of my cars.
A slightly used one is stuck on the side of my tool box.
The only thing I've noticed about the Obama sticker people is that I do not believe that I've seen one driving like an asshat. I've seen them clogging up left lanes and acting like an obliviot, but not going crazy. A friend of mine put a McCain/Palin sticker on his G35 and plans on keeping it there for the duration in response to people who kept Clinton or Gore stickers on their cars while Bush was in office.

Asleep at the Wheel Sticker unfortunately it's out of stock at the moment.

I wish I could find a bumper sticker I saw one time: "Western swing isn't dead, its Asleep at The Wheel". I would put that one on an old Chevy/Ford/Dodge Pick up. And thats about the only bumper sticker I'd put on my car.
Political stickers here are far FAR outnumbered by stickers of Calvin peeing on E36 M3.
the only one's I've had on my Suby are the typical NPR sticker that seems to be on every non-turbo Suby around here (WNCW 88.7) but I also have a "Ralph Stanley for President" sticker ... that confuses a whole bunch a folk....
Must be a regional thing. I've seen lots of NIIIIICE cars in ATL with Obama stickers. Always blows my berkeleying mind.
I've also noticed that the liberal/progressive "Entitlement" attitude also applies to the left lane.

I have noticed the exact opposite where I am. The people with the Bush and McCain stickers sit in the left lane. I think there are just a lot of confused people.

Even though I drive a Volvo 240 wagon, I refuse to blast my political affiliation on my car; I don't need to prove anything to anyone. The only issue I feel strongly enough in to advertise is the Human Rights Campaign. If that makes me liberal, then so be it.
