OK, picked up a Dodge Daytona with the aero fascia and huge wing. Also encountered this model I had not seen before. At first I thought it was the concept for the X1/9, then realized it was one of the Mustang concepts. Awesome color, too, but in a 20 car pack with no other awesome cars.
Anyone seen this sold as an individual car?

Yeah, that was a...2011? I don't think I have any of them, unfortunately, but it is out there.

Where the hell are you shopping that you keep scoring SS TH's like that? I've never even SEEN one in the wild by me.... are Minnesotans really that lame?
Ha, I'm in a Walmart/meijer/Kmart/Kroger everyday. This is better and cheaper than a therapist.

Gotcha- you've got a better spread of stores than I do. Kroger seems to have the inside line on some stuff, I refuse to set foot in walmart, We don't have Meijer, and for whatever reason, all the Kmarts here suck. My big players are Toys R Us and Target- neither of which ever do me right. I'm close to daily myself, but it's for actual groceries lol.

Nice! I found the Gulf-liveried Fast Fish or whatever TH from early this year sitting proudly front and center at a Meijer today.

I've got two of those- Walgreens of all places. Right next to each other on the rack. I've got a few other TH's, but none of the SS ones..... do want.

Only Super THs I've found in the wild are the bronze '71 El Camino, and a couple of the Dan Wheldon tributes.
Kroger have a special Halloween series that should be hitting stores soon. I think all are fictional castings.

I still need to lay my hands on the Kroger ECTO 1 casting from a while back.

Yes, in several variations, but that was 1-2 years ago. I might have one or two, but I don't know where they are right now.
I'm not huge into these, but I keep my eyes open for my 6-year old. The other day I scored

And a mint Delorean (not a BTF car) still in the package. All that for $5.
How'd I do?

You did good. I get the impression that the tow truck alone might be worth more than that. I'd have to see the bottom to know for sure.

A friend just found a 2nd gen xB yesterday in a two-pack. It was Walmart.
Anyone seen them elsewhere??

Yeah, I think I did pretty good.
I think the Impala could sell for twice what I paid for the lot. I'm not a collector, I'm buying for my 6-year old. He plays with them like a 6-year old so I figure, when I come upon a decent score like this I can sell them to fund less desirable cars.

They have come in singles- but they're usually REALLY ugly and so on.

Thanks. Yeah, except for the tow hooks, this thing is perfect. You can tell it's been rolled around only because the tires aren't shiney. The paint is perfect, the windshield is clear and scratch-free. This baby is destined for eBay! Heck, maybe I can get $5 and go buy 10 cheap cars at a garage sale.

Walmart are gradually starting to stock a new line of Auto World-branded 1:64. Three model lines at $2.99, $3.99, and $4.99, and appear to be taking over the Johnny Lightning pegs.

The cars I've seen thus far are sharp.

Heads up, Kmart are having an event this Saturday, and will be stocking some exclusive colors...

Auto World is trying to take all of my money. As if 1/18 die casts, slot cars, and model kits weren't enough.

Look out for autoworld chase cars also; chrome or chromillusion finishes. Kmart event is one of the best opportunities for non-hardcore collectors to find treasure hunts also.
