Not the same style. Don't know much about dirt racing, these were more sedan-like bodies? Possibly short run by someone not Hotwheels or Matchbox.
They also made a dirt modified.
I believe this is what I saw (among others):

I'll put in another vote for American Diecast. Not sure if Action are still in that market. Believe ADC supplied the dirt diecast on the Wind Tunnel set.

Those are asphalt modifieds. I've got a few that were done in the 90s of NASCAR tour drivers.

Is that third gen Camaro a Matchbox car? Looks awesome.
Autoworld came out with these 8 months ago, Walmart and online retailers are the only place to find them. That is a chase car, one of 850. Call out are the UltraRed paint and white graphics on the hood/top. Even rarer is a zamac version which is one of TEN! I found the GT40 zamac and ultrared in one day which was a great day.

This was apparently made for McDonalds by Mattel.

The Johnny lightning modified looks like the ones Ertl used to make. A friend of mine has a ton of them.
Just saw this on eBay and had to get it, the real car was in the showroom at one of the Ferrari dealers my friend works at so I got to sit in it.

Probably not impressive to you guys that are around race cars all day but I've never had a scale version of the exact car I've sat it. Kinda dumb but oh well haha

That's from a few cases ago, so not too likely to be found in Walmart or Target stores that rotate stock more often. I would check places like Kmart, Big Lots, Kroger, etc. that don't tend to have the latest and greatest.
I finally found the third case of Cool Classics. The Retro Entertainment pegs seem to have ground to a halt with the case with the first Italian Job Mini and Miami Vice Ferrari.
Been trying to find a HotWheels 2014 Kia Rondo with no luck.

Ran across a cool BMW 1 M (Matchbox) at the local Dollar General today.

Thanks for getting me hooked on these again. I just picked up a 92 M3

You're not the only one this group has roped back into the game....
Picked these up tonight, evidently my local Safeway is a gold mine for stuff I like. Walgreens and target are always busts.

I was browsing the local Walmart the other day, and passed on a 3 dollar special edition Hot Wheels Cobra Daytona.
I've been kicking myself since.

From the newer Cool Classics line. Kmart and Target at least are stocking them too.
Found the Alfa 8C last night.

Anybody finding the RX-7 from the latest case? I'm trying to find one with a roll cage if you find one. They are early case only dang it.
