My thinly veiled excuse for buying them is so that when SWMBO and I have kids they are gonna have some berkeleying sweet hot wheels to play with.

Coolness. I found that Super TH a couple weeks ago. Only the second Super I've found. Love that casting too.

I found the military silverado at the nationals in April but I can't bring myself to spend the money on it. All the others in my collection were found at retail or from the original retailer.
My father had a '71 Mach 1 as a teenager, and when I came across this in Dollar General I thought it'd make a nice little addition to his father's day gift.
That's not my picture, though. I just double checked it and mine isn't the treasure hunt model.
Still, dad will be happy with a Mustang that's not in his collection.
I'm new to HW and am still unclear about the treasure hunt vehicles. Do they currently ALL have the small HW "wings" logo on them? The reason I'm asking is that I was in a hobby store a couple of days ago and there were several that had that.
I can clearly see the emblem on the gold Mustang posted above. The cars I saw had that but I think the emblem was in a slightly smaller scale.
Do vintage treasure hunt models have the logo? If not, are they distinguished in another way?
Picked this guy up yesterday at the store in Bellbrook. 1/18th scale Super 7 for $20. Very detailed, and the hood comes off for a very detailed engine. Really only bought it because I know someone that autocrosses one here locally & I'd love to have a ride in it, let alone drive it.

Prior to the 2013 releases (I think, might've been 2012), the regular TH releases also had a unique green stripe on the cards. Otherwise, cars should have the circle-flame logo.
For the last couple years, there's also a blurb behind the car on the card noting it's a rare car.
Jerry, that particular die cast usually retails for a LOT more. Good score. I have the same one in BRG.
Found these at the local Safeway this morning.
A mini, couple gt2s, couple skylines, a sesto elemento, aventador j, and a huayra. The white Porsche caught my eye because its not glossy, more of a matte finish.
Spurred by Ian F's post yesterday, I grudgingly went to wally world (target didn't have new ones out yet) and found these:
I didn't know weather to put this in here or the box flares thread...
Also found a blue Aventador J to go with the yellow one.
no pic, but I got a '15 NSX at Kmart last night. I always buy a hotwheels first at Kmart and usually get a register coupon that saves money on the thing I actually came to buy. (cat food & cat poop dust)
EDIT - car is '12 nsx concept.
Not in my hands yet, but my friends have been hunting for the 500 for weeks for me. One came through last weekend at Traders World (big indoor flea market in Monroe OH) & sent me this. I didn't even know the white one existed, he said the guy told him it's brand new. The red one has been on eBay for awhile but I refuse to pay $6-10 for a regular new Hot Wheel. I'll have them this Saturday.
Funny. My wife brought home that white 500 for me last night. It's sitting on my desk next to the Matchbox GMT-400 pickup.
