I search a little better. Besides I have a spare Bat Pod and a Jetson's Bubble car for trading stock.

I had only been buying them when I was out anyway but today I made a special trip to find a Fiat. I also ended up with a DB 5, Greenwood Vette and the E36 M3
Found a Batman set today, as well as a Furai, Challenger SRT8 and an STI hatch that are all from 2012. I guess a grocery store in a crappy part of town dorsnt move through these too fast.
I used to have loads of hotwheels when i was a kid, but they were all open. i haven't started to collect yet, all gifts so far, but i'm gonna start buying when i find some.
I found the BMW 2002 in blue yesterday, so now I have it and a green one. Still no white one, though.
What I really want was found with the cheap die-casts (1:18 scale?) available at most any drug store: An E92 M3 in blue. But then they all disappeared about the time the F30 disappeared.
Only one I have unopened is a back to the future car that came with my bluray box set. Would love to have an e46 m3 if they made one (I have no idea)
Realized I hadn't been in here in a while.... lemme drop some pics off on ya.

Zamac, only available at walmarts and usually the first person to the bin gets them all. Basically same graphics as the normal release but NO PAINT just a clear coat. This year there are 12 or 18 of them.

eBay is probably the best place to look at values. I don't keep up on that.
I had never noticed or heard of the Zamac ones before but I came across these two at target. Are these zamac? Not the Manx obviously though.

Those are confusing, they are not zamac but rather silver metallic paint. The really confusing one is the ae86 that was available silver AND zamac. Easy way to tell the zamac is that the paint doesn't cover the casting marks so you can usually see imperfections and casting creases. On top of that the card "usually" says zamac and what number of xx they are (some made it out last year with no marking on the card which set up a flurry of $$ amongst those who go for that sort of thing).
