I actually picked up a neat error-I found a twin mill with an incomplete casting, part of its fender is missing.... I'll get pics once I figure out what i did with it.

Found the 71 Mustang funny car. This thing is cool. I could be wrong, but I think they've been using the same funny car chassis for 30+ years.
And I bagged 2 TV Batmobilies .
Can you tell me what year the chevelle ss is in the first pic please

Ah ha thanks. I couldn't tell on my phone and was trying to Google chevelle hot wheels. Now it makes sense.
Quick question - does anyone have a case from Carney? Or any similar? I have one regular display case from Ikea that's quite full & debating a second one, or one of those cases that mounts on a wall with individual openings for cars.
I have 5 of them in my living room. They are nicely made but be careful hanging them. I put the first one up with a screw gun and over tightened the screw and put a small crack in the back.
Dang, I've not Seen those yet.
Watch for Biffs BTTF version of the miyagimobile with a removable pile of poo!
I don't think I posted it here but I found the Toyota p/u from BTTF a few weeks ago from this same movie series, I'm hoping to find the Delorean sometime.
Just had a question:
Do your guys collections have a theme or is it just one of each car plus doubles for trades?
I don't really care for the made up cars and tend to only go for the real life modeled ones. As well as the tv/movie themed cars.
I skip the made ups. I generally buy stuff I like, and snake the chase cars in case I feel like trading. I look for errors and stuff too. I generally buy one for me and one for my kid- and maybe more if I know I want to trade them, or in the case of anything 70s japanese, I buy ALL OF THEM.
I collect real cars. I used to collect only mopar about 15 years ago. Let me tell you what wasn't easy.
Remember that cool orange 70 Roadrunner that was out ? I think I bought about 10 of them.
I won't do ebay, but I have bought a few from vendors at car shows - a good source for models a few years old and long out of the stores. Yeah, I may pay $3 instead $1, but I don't care if it's a model I hadn't seen (or only saw here).
Also have little interest in the made-up models.
In reply to Lancer007:
I buy what I like. Not interested in value, I buy rally cars, import cars, cars I've owned before, cars friends own, etc. My collection is mostly rally, import customs, and a Dodge Lil Red Express.
