A co-worker here nearly had his Porsche 944 fake-repo'ed by a would-be car thief. Unfortunately for the punk, my co-worker was returning from a gun show with his FFL licensed MP-5. Punk was arrested, made bail, then disappeared.
My first job after getting married in 1965 was a "Manager trainee" for a national finance company. That translated into "Midnight Repo Trainee" In the few months that I worked there I never had any adventures, even though I was stealing Caddys from the projects. Branch manager came in one morning, threw his keys across the office and screamed "I quit!!!". He had a .45 held to his head the night before. The car owner pulled the trigger, gun went "click" and misfired. I followed his lead a few weeks later. I did have a cool company car- Tempest with the OHC six.
Josh meant fake as in the entire video is a "dramatic reenactment" of the "original" event as told by the repo man trying to make money with his repo man show on TV.
