Let me look I may have the thread ID number and path. Air may also have it. We pulled it from the google web crawler that cashes most of the internet the other day.

Air was able to pull most of what we needed to recreate a good part of what was lost. There is a link to where he got it in the new Assetto Corsa thread if that is helpfull.

EDIT: I just reposted it in Cars For Sale and put a link in the original thread, but feel free to delete the old thread, since it only contained me and Indy Guy being frustrated at the distance between him and the Ranchero.

Is it possible to move a thread to another category?

I am an idiot and put my Ranchero in Grassroots Motorsports instead of, um, you know, Cars for Sale.

EDIT: Or Classic Cars For Sale. I leave it to the editorial judgment. It's old enough to be a classic, but condition and pedigree probably make it more GRM than CM?

Mods - Could you change the title of this thread to reflect that the wheels are now in GA? No SC involvement any longer. Thanks!

Dear mods - would it be possible to rename this thread of mine to something like "My ill-advised adventures with motorcycles" or something along those lines? I seem to dump all my recent m/c content in there already, so changing the title is probably a good idea.

So, does GRM+ not automatically renew?

Does it come with a subscription?

Did my subscription expire? I have a 10 year, but I'm not sure how many years are left on it.

Is there a way to sign up for GRM+ for multiple years so I don't have to worry about it annually?

Inquiring minds want to know.

In reply to Toyman! :

Happy to answer questions.

GRM+ does not come with a print subscription, but print subscribers can view GRM+ content for free if they link their subscription in their user dashboard (you'll still see ads and won't be labeled a GRM+ member on the forum, though).

It looks like you have about a year left on each subscription (GRM and Classic Motorsports).

There isn't a way to sign up for GRM+ for multiple years, but it does automatically renew each year as long as your card hasn't changed.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Can a moderator fix the title in my discussion in the GRM section?  It should say BMW 3 series, not BMW 23 series (I had a slip of the fingers on the keyboard. smiley )

Weird thing about voting from iOS devices - it goes to a page that says "Thank you.  Your  vote has been recorded." But there's no direct way to navigate off of that page, and

[Morgan Freeman voice] His vote was not recorded. [\Morgan Freeman voice]

Plus, it doesn't always do it.

Can you change the title of my thread "The Danger Ranger ?" to "Bent Valves Ranger Stuff"?

Thanks in advance!

I have a digital subscription to GRM.  Since I don't have space to store physical magazines, I really don't need them.

I am constantly getting this notice -

Your print subscription to Grassroots Motorsports has expired, although as a GRM+ member you can access the digital edition. Renew your print subscription now.

Is there a way to make this go away?

Thanks

We are constantly treading the knife's-edge between keeping the forums clean and keeping the bar to entry very low, because unlike a lot of forums that are okay being semi-closed conversations, we want--need--lots of new blood and traffic.. Our current setup requires just a few minutes of spam cleanup on a heavy day; unfortunately we also sleep, so that cleanup happens when the first mods get up, meaning the earliest forum users may also see the overnight spam. (It was awesome when I was in Europe a couple weeks ago.)

Think of the 7 a.m. shift here as being like early satellite TV owners: While most viewers never saw what happened when the news cut to commercial, those early satellite viewers got to see Tom Brokaw drinking his water and shooting the E36 M3. Only, you know, with ladies of the night in the Tom Brokaw role. (And apologies for the intrusions.)

You say that like they are mutually exclusive.  Are there not rules that could be implemented (for example) to prevent you from posting 100 new threads back to back?
