It worked for me at least, and it is a good link. On a more serious note, I'm beginning to wonder if its time to reinstall my easton aluminum amti- dumbass device in my car. I'm seeing some really stupid E36 M3 happen, and I am a stupid E36 M3 magnet.
Make sure you keep a glove and ball with it, otherwise it might be considered a weapon.
The more I read the news, the more I realise that Carlin was right, humanity is circling the drain and it's time for the cockroaches to have their turn.
Ferguson was a powder keg of racial tension waiting to go off, for good reason. This just happened to be the event that set it off. Once that powder is lit, you're not putting the lid back on until it burns out.
That the officer appears to have been acting in self defense does nothing to change the underlying tension and anger.
The people who should know better are the educated folks who continue to repeat the rhetoric of the officer being a racist murderer, despite any evidence to the contrary.

exactly, I have showed it to several people and they all felt the same way...
In case there is anyone else out there (like me) who have not been glued to every detail of this thing while it developed. Here is what seems to be a pretty good summary of the events:
In reference to the events and the physical evidence:
the-physical-evidence-in-the-michael-brown-case-supported-the-officer
Graphic representation, with some of the eye witness testimony:
ferguson-grand-jury-findings
Physical evidence collected, and where:

I made the mistake of reading the comments below those articles.
Yes, the guy in the video above nails it. My opinion may be skewed though, my family (sadly) owned a few folks way back when.
Close the city and tell the people that something's coming to call
Death and darkness are rushing forward to take a bite from the wall, oh
You've nothing to say
They're breaking away
If you listen to fools...
The Mob Rules
The Mob Rules
Kill the spirit and you'll be blinded, the end is always the same
Play with fire, you burn your fingers and lose your hold of the flame, oh
It's over, it's done
The end is begun
If you listen to fools...
The Mob Rules
You've nothing to say
Oh, They're breaking away
If you listen to fools...
Break the circle and stop the movement, the wheel is thrown to the ground
Just remember it might start rolling and take you right back around
You're all fools!
The Mob Rules!

So did mine. I have seen no personal benefit from that and never will. I'm really thankful that slavery has ended here in the US (although it does continue in other nations around the world).
That was 150 years ago; the civil rights movement culminated in the correct decisions 50 years ago. It's time to quit using those as excuses. The guy's video is exactly right on that subject.

I only came back in to this thread because Pimpm3 had something to say and the video hits darn well.
From 1997-2000 Chris Rock had a show on HBO and this educational video from 15-20 years ago drives a lot of the same message.

Darren Wilson has resigned.
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/30/us/ferguson.html
Not surprising, he's got a target on his back for every ignorant thug in that town.
(AP) Wilson told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch he was stepping down out of his "own free will" after the police department told him it had received threats of violence if he remained an employee.
"I'm not willing to let someone else get hurt because of me," said Wilson, who had been with the department for six years.

Maybe I'm wrong but I always considered the "t" meant a specific person instead of "any" person sharing the same initials.
Regardless, the last thing a reasonably polite forum needs is an agenda-driven attorney who deliberately misinterprets and twists the words of others. On top of that, if a window-of-opportunity doesn't exist, he'll bulldoze a hole in a wall, claim it as a window, that it was always there and that he had nothing to do in creating it.
Anyone in this thread who thinks that slavery hasn't affected anyone alive today needs to ask themselves why some ethnicities enjoy more wealth, power, and social status than others today. It'll be hard to answer while ignoring history without coming to a racist conclusion.
And you have to stop falling for it every time a black dude repeats a speech that would win a white guy a gold medal in the Racist Olympics. That doesn't legitimize it. Doesn't matter whether they know it's BS but like the attention, or because they genuinely believe what they're saying since wealth has given them generous insulation from any racial discrimination and a nasty survivorship bias about their own success.
To flip roles here, if there was a white Youtube user/crazy politician/Supreme Court judge/neurosurgeon considering a political career who said things like "I know we white guys really get off on oppressing minorities and also reap practical benefits from it, but we have to learn to stop being a bunch of shiny happy people" would that seem any less stupid and racist?
I hate to break this to you but pretty much every group of people out there has made slaves of another group of people at some time in history.
Contrary to popular belief, white people didn't invent slavery, we were just the best at it.
I don't think his speech was racist at all. There's plenty of white trash out there that need to hear the same thing.

If you treat people like victims, they act like victims.
Excuse the flounder.. But White, Christian, Republicans lead the movement to abolish slavery, and for the most part lead the civil rights movement.
Time for everyone to just put on their big boy pants and join society instead of this nonsense perpetual claim of victimhood...
If Fredrick Douglas could do it... WTF is your excuse!!!
