Yes, news went around a few years ago that she was fighting cancer. I remember being worried then.

Huge loss. She lived well though.
Few persons embodied racing being about driving, and not the capabilities of the machine, better than she did. She was the poster person for seat time, which is probably why her smile was always more than twice as large as anyone else's.
She had the talent the capability and the recognition to create a hugely successful brand had she wanted, but it isn't who she was, she just wanted to drive and be happy. Driving was still an escape for her, a challenge, but an escape.
I was floored when I read this, she was a real talent and ambassador for the sport.
berkeley cancer. She'd been fighting for quite some time. I really enjoyed that episode with her busting Clarkson's eggs all the way around the 'ring.
Ouch, this really hits me in the feels. She was so much fun to watch and brought such energy wherever she went.
I'll hoist a pint and burn some rubber in memory tonight.
