This story is a couple of years old, but I just found it tonight. It's fascinating.

Separated from his older brother at a train station, five-year-old Saroo Munshi Khan found himself lost in the slums of Calcutta. Nearly 20 years later, living in Australia, he began a painstaking search for his birth home, using ingenuity, hazy memories, and Google Earth.
Wow...
I can't remember where I left my hammer half the time.
man. That was a great read.

Yeah, kinda... Except with less hemi coronet.
I'm sure it will end up being a movie.

Not much, I actually read about him in Time and then Googled his name for more articles. But I have found some good articles from Vanity Fair in the past. I really think the name does them an injustice.
This may have been the first Vanity Fair article I ever read. The magazine was on the table of a lake house we rented. It's a long article, but eventually, there is a vehicle connection.

Pretty incredible...I never considered how simple literacy is so taken for granted. Incredible is the only word I can think of.
Also, Ive never spoken a second language more than a few phrases and some odds and ends I retained from middle school Spanish classes. I couldn't imagine forgetting a language I was fluent in. I guess its a case of "if you dont use it, you lose it"?
