Schoooooooools out for summer!

It is really berkeleying hot. Although my favorite pastime (watching tourists cook themselves lobster red) is just coming into season. 

Also, today is the first day of tax free hurricane supplies, which lasts a week. I found out on accident when I went to Costco and bought 6 cases of water. 

Our youngest graduated HS 2 weeks ago. I’m glad to be done with that E36 M3 - hated school then, and didn’t care for it much better as a parent. I’m truthfully glad our kids weren’t active in extracurricular activities. Of course many of the people we went to school with had kids the same age as ours, which just made it all the more intolerable.

Meh, it was 98° when we left Texas and mid 70s when we got to Florida. I'll take Florida at least for a week then it's back to the furnace.

Mrs.  APEowner is a teacher.  Summer vacation is when she visits family back east, spends enough time away from kids that she's happy to see them again in the fall and is available to spend weekends with me.

My kids have until next Tuesday 

15th is our last day here.  But all the college kids went home 2 weeks ago, so traffic/parking isn't as bad.
