Thinking about unloading some gear that my kids abandoned like a stale sandwich. Including a Wii, PS2, PSP, 3DS, old iTouch, and a couple racks of games. GameStop buys all this stuff locally. I'm not really interested in selling by the piece, on CL or EBay.. too much hassle. (edit that last statement was a lie apparently)
Can anyone recommend a REPUTABLE "ship and sell" vendor who deals in used gear? All but he 3DS currently sits back in its original packaging.

Its all dependent on what you have. Unfortunately your systems arentnworth a ton right now, you're on the bottom edge of mid school. That 3ds is probably the most valuable, with the PSP being a close second. Realistically, to get the most out of your $$$, Craigslist. Mail and sell are designed to low ball the E36 M3 out of you- I wouldn't trust a single one. You send, they berkeley you.and they have your.stuff. its lose lose.
I wish I knew of local selling services--we have a mountain of stuff to unload.
GameStop will give you just pennies on the dollar for games and consoles, its infuriating. Here in Atl my wife has had success selling things locally via Facebook groups like East Cobb Moms--verified IDs make for better transactions than CraigsList.

Your best bet for local truly is local. Vintage games stores are hot right now, most malls have one. Problem is, they're hit and miss. I have a few locally, and I only trust one. Granted, I've dealt in the stuff before, so I'm the exception, but there are good ones out there.
In reply to nderwater: will look that up.. I'm a half mile from east Cobb, in north Fulton. Thanks
In reply to mndsm: very true. Thanks

In Dallas, there's a chain called Entertainmart that is glorious. They buy Ultimate Electronics and Circuit City buildings and fill them wall to wall with used movies, music, and games. Their buy prices are also much better than GameStop.
I'm sure your city has a similar chain of sorts.

mods, delete if this isn't okay
Good luck. Too old to be modern, too new to be retro.

This. Though everything appears to be well taken care of based on the picture, when I'm game shopping that's definitely a big plus. I'm almost tempted to ask what you want for the 3ds.

The 3DS does hold some interest- depending on age- due to the whole Nintendo $$$ fiasco, there's a pile of em out there (one of mine being one) that hold a bit of intrinsic value due to the ambassador program and the games that could be downloaded. Of course, that's all dependent on if the games were downloaded from the program, and if it was an ambassador DS to begin with.
There's SOME early PSP's that are worth a few bucks too- due to modding and homebrew- but that is waaaay out of my league, I tend to deal in Nintendo.
EDIT- Wife is potentially interested for our kiddo, how much might one want for said 3DS? He's a mario fiend and I won't let him near any of mine (I'm embarassed to say how many nintendo handhelds I own) and we've been using it as part of OT for fine motor.
Awww man if you were local I'd take the ps2 off your hands just to play hot shots golf, I could play that for hours.

Bloody Hell. Ok, DEFINITELY interested in the 3DS, mario kart 7, mario 2 and mario 3d land. HOWEVER, my cash is tied up in some other shenanigans for about another week and a half or so. And since I already spent my 3 year olds Xmas money on Hot wheels (he loves em!) He can't buy it himself. If you get it sold before then, by all means, do so- but if you have it, I want it. So at least you have that to look forward to.

sure do, any idea on shipping to 18640?
That 3DS is a hell of a deal. I'd be all over it if I had the cash.
Like others have said, it's too old for the modern crowd, but too new for the retro crowd.
BTW, Wii's are awesome. While most people dismiss them as a kid's console, they can be made into a sweet emulation hub. I hacked one of mine and it now plays NES, SNES, Genesis, Sega Master System, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Game Boy Advance, regular Game Boy, and more.

I just shipped Bryan the Wii and paid about 25 bucks. That surprised me.. (I haven't shipped anything on my nickel for quite a while). "Some money" > "no money".
Cost estimator says about $15 for the ps2 box, which is smaller and lighter.
Hit me up via the CL link if you are interested. The ad is updated for sold items, and will be kept up to date as much as I can.

Holy cow, didn't know it would cost that much to ship. Let me know if you want some additional $$ for shipping. Flat rate boxes may make it cheaper for other items.
Thanks Bryan. Box size was just beyond standard flat rates.. No worries.

Thanks, I have to catch up on some bills from xmas, if you still have it in a couple weeks I'll get in touch, but by all means sell it to someone else if you can before then.
