I didn't post it, here you go.

As far as the advance apology goes, there's a beautiful Kimber 1911 that I would really love to have, or that trip to Disney World that you keep putting off![]()
I was going to say "buy her the gun dummy!!" but then I realized maybe an upset wife and a new gun aren't a good combo.
My wife doesn't know what a Kimber or 1911 are. Since this thread is in the off topic forum, I think we should discuss the Kimber rather than the car. I've yet to own a 1911 but I really like the look of Kimbers.
In reply to PeterAK:
The wife mentioned that; the fact that I posted this in off topic.
I figured since the subject of the post was not racing and I don't plan to race the car I should put it here. I dunno.
I have a Springfield full-size 1911 and it fits me quite well. The wife has shot it but she prefers her Ruger Sr22 and would rather have the previously mentioned Kimber...that's priced at 1,300 frickin dollars!!!
Edit: Apparently it's only $1,200...

The Kimber: http://www.kimberamerica.com/1911/crimson-carry-ii/ultra-crimson-carry-ii
It's pretty and feels like it was made just for me!
I have a Kimber Pro Carry II (Commander size) and an Ultra Carry II (Officer size). I much prefer the Pro Carry, and the Ultra stays in the safe, despite being more concealable.
Not home yet. The owner said I could snag it Monday.
I ordered some t.v. cable bushings last night, mine's probably due for a replacement too.
Edit: The owner has family in from out of state so I should be able to get my grubby little paws on it after the first of the year.
