We said farewell to Jake this morning. I can't say enough about the vet who came out. He gave us 17 of the best years he could, and was friend to many a GRM visitor.

Watching Jake wonder around the kitchen was one of the highlights on my visits to y'all. Miss ya Jake.
17 years is a long time for a doggo, but "forever" still wouldn't be long enough. Jake looks like a heckin good guy. He's in good hands (paws?) with Kota, Jack, and Wally. They'll get on great together, I know it.
Sounds like his lives his life well, I'm sorry for your loss. After that long, they truly become a huge part of your family. Never easy!
