Had mine done 2 months ago. Within a week I was back to normal. Wear that jockstrap!...for at least a week. Way easier than my wife having her tubes tied. She would have been out of work for 6 weeks...she is a nurse.

I have it made fellas, best of both worlds here. I didn't have to get the snip, and when I want to use them, I just get them out of my wifes purse. I just have to make sure I put them back....

My wife keeps mine in a glass jar. My dad gave me a plastic testicle set for my wedding,s aid I would need them. I understand it now.

I just scheduled my second vasectomy the other day. The first one I got was pretty painless, I have a prescription for some heavy pain killers for the one coming up. I'm a little worried.

Food for thought:

A vasectomy is a couple of hundred bucks, 20 minutes in the Dr's office, I walked home from mine.

A reversal is often a $25,000+ procedure done under general anesthetic in a hospital, and no insurance company will pay because it's ALWAYS elective surgery. Several days laying on my back recovering from that one.

Yeah, you read that right. I am the voice of experience.

I was VERY confident when I had the initial procedure. Sometimes life changes. Be REALLY SURE before you get snipped.

It was 10 years before my reversal. Doctor told me the odds were pretty slim it would work. It's is dependent on the amount of time that goes by, the amount of scar tissue, and the amount of the vas deferens that was initially removed. It CAN'T always be reversed.

I've got 3 kids post procedure. No regrets (except for the 10 years lost in the middle).

I just got the results of the 6 month analysis back today. No swimmers in the sample.

VERY happy with the decision.

But then again, I've got an 8 y.o. and an 11 y.o. I'm incredibly confident I'm not interested in having more.
