I really don't want to see anything you threw up on a boat.

Dead Hobies are all over. I always wanted to put an outboard in the center of a Hobie tramp. Stable, manuverable, very shallow draft.
Build a ring around the engine, build a similar ring on deck, mount handlebars to the top of the engine. 360' turning.

My shoulder ached just looking at the picture. That would look awsome on a cedar square-back canoe. I think it's time for a Tommy-built Cafe Racer. How is the dirt-bike coming?

sailing club at UT has one of those, they use it to go recover stranded sailors or freshmen that don't know what they're doing. i think they have like a 4 or 5 hp motor on it and it moves pretty good, iirc.
Dirt bike is right where I want it: Reliable and fun.
I can weld, but I just don't find tall bikes amusing. My current project is painting the E30 (It's all in primer now!) I've still got a week of blocking left, because I can only work 4-6 starting Monday. School is just so inconvenient!
What should I do next?
That's awesome, was debating on trying my hand at building a small wood boat with my niece, there's a sizeable unused rock quarry nearby we could play with it there. Just might have to take a swing at it after this thread.
