Watching the Nonamakers running pretty good before the car ran dry on Mr. Sahlen right at Pit In. You know, I always thought it was cool that Sahlen's family has kept that business going for..

(shock of sudden clarity)

HOLY COW! It's been years since I've had a Sahlen's hot dog! Anybody know if you can find them in Atlanta metro? Farmer's Market, Hot Dog stand, Supermarket, anywhere?

Check their site. Come to find out I just have to go to Kroger about a hour north to get them.

Well, their site mentions grocery stores in SC as the closest ones to me, I was wondering if somebody had heard of an "underground supply". I didn't think to check their site for restaurants, I'll go back & look. Thanks!

It looks like you can order them on Amazon and have them shipped.

I checked the site and they have them at the grocery store in my town, maybe I should try some.

Yeah, I saw that. The guy in the TRG car must prefer Nathan's.

Nathan's = enough sodium to dry-cure a horse

I like 'em, too, but not THAT much.

All too easy for the leader bringing them down to the green to touch the brakes right before the green is thrown, knowing the cars behind him can't even initiate an overtake until after they reach the s/f line. I don't like that rule, cause it creates a bad slinky effect for the cars at the back.

That was certainly entertaining..I'm kind of getting into these little cars, now that they're not as ugly.

Less than a quarter of a second after six hours. People can complain about Grand-Am all they want, I'm too busy watching close finishes in sports car races.

Anyone see the "crowd shot" at the beginning of SPEED's coverage? The camera crew caught some spectators enjoying 4/20 a few weeks late.

Good race and I have no desire for a dog, either.

Well, I always knew there must be something about them. It wasn't just how evenly matched they were, but when I saw some of the drivers that had signed up (especially in the early days), I figured they had to be a absolute ball of fun to drive. Can't help but notice that the DPs are getting better looking during the exact same moment that LMP is approaching almost F1 levels of aero-slave ugliness.

Are you rationing them, or planning one good blowout? My grill's not charcoal, but it'll fit in the C (if I take it apart).

Yeah, that sucked. And Wayne and Dane looked so good in practice, too. Bummer for all involved.

From what I saw on T&S, they were running top 5 for most of the first 3-4hrs.
