Or should say just before midnight yesterday. 1lb 11oz, 2 months early, my sisters body decided it didn't want to be carrying a child and tried to reject it. I was way early myself at 3lb 6oz but dang.... I'm not sure what I should be thinking right now, so far both are doing well. Had to perform cpr on my new niece but she's in nicu and so far doing well. My kid sister, seems to be recovering well from the c-section but she's freaked over the baby being so premature.
Thought I would share... my mind is fragged right now.

2 months early from 40? So 32 weeks?
Dang, as you say. That's a small baby. Mine were 4lbs and 6lbs respectively, and both had to spend ~2weeks in the NICU.
Your family will be in my thoughts. It's a scary time and I hope the best.
Good work. Do I read that correctly that you performed the CPR? If so, I would imagine that had to be quite an experience. Best of wishes for your family.
Edit: I see that it was a cessaerian section, you most likely did not perform the CPR.
Nope wasn't me, trained to do it, but thankfully not me. Training and application are two VERY different things.
