So... Top Gear America is back on....

From what i am reading on Wikipedia, says the History Channel has asked for 10 to 12 episodes. Says the hosts are Adam Carrola, Tanner Foust, and Eric Stromer...

Please, anybody but Adam Carolla. He's annoying to look at and annoying to listen to. I don't care if he's the greatest gearhead in the world he'll make it uninteresting.

Stop and think about it are there really any gearheads on the REAL Top Gear? The big guy can't even change his socks without bleeding somewhere and James May, while the closest to a gear head they have, is so low key that he doesn't add anything to the show except to be a foil.

Get interesting people.

3 different type of people are needed yes and they all cant be gearheads or even know what they are talking about most of the time, that is a big appeal of the show itself.

I still don't know why it isn't cheaper to just purchase the syndication right for the British show.....PBS has been doing that for years with other series.

Of course with Foust and Carolla you have two gear heads. Stromer I don't know. I'm not sure if Tanner should be hosting, he could be the Stig no problem IMO.

Well. if it on wikipedia it must be true!

Carolla alluded to it in one of his "garage" podcasts about his Miura.

I like him and I like that he's into all sorts of cars. Faust can certainly drive and Stromer--well, we'll see. He usually thinks he's funnier than he actually is.
