And just what is that you ask?
That is what I call it when a customer comes to the parts counter where I work to pick up a special order part and when I ask what name it is under the customer gives me their first name. 
Maybe I should file the special order parts under the first name. 
Nope. Not going to happen.
I thought that was the Florida effect. When I went to work in Daytona I was astounded to see all the work orders for auto repair written in first name only, or occasionally nick name, I.E. "Cadillac Jack".

Hell, I walk into the local shops and order parts with no name. Perks of small town America.
"Well, we got one in this morning...but the customer's name is...uh, Dick Hertz. You gotta last name, or should I give Dick's to you instead?"
