We're still on Gen2 in the US i think. Rest of world has Gen3.

They really weren't all THAT big, really. Big in context but they got a lot bigger in the 70s. My grandfather had a midsize '75 Pontiac that he returned the next week because it didn't fit in the garage. He had a couple Sedan de Villes from the early 80s that fit just fine...
