That's true. I even watch Lowe's commercials, just to hear the Hack Man.

Funny thing about all the votes for Road House: I saw that in the theater, with Tim and one of his (male) friends, and thought it sucked--but when I mentioned to them that it sucked (I mean, c'mon... Ben Gazzara?) and we should leave, they just kept watching like they'd been hypnotized. Must be a guy thing.

Oh hell yeah! My bro, when he was around 11- 13, used to borrow my Heavy Metal mags and bring them back 15 mins later. Ewwww.

I still read it every once in awhile.

Now that we have lady input I know there are some chick flicks you guys can't stop watching if they come on. I swear I'm 100% hetero but I watched "Bring It On" start to finish. I'm going to blame it on the cheerleaders. That and the brunette with the dreads.

I just remembered another "so bad, but I can't stop watching it" movie...

"Attack Of The Killer Clowns"

I have no problems with clowns, but this movie would make nearly anyone want to avoid a circus. Yet, I watch it whenever it comes on tv, usually VERY late at night. Clowns that turn into monsters, humans attacked by shadow puppets, people "spun" into cotton candy cocoons...for snacking on later. Love it, including the VERY cheesey ending.

My wife has a habit of watching the same movie over and over when she goes to bed. For a while it was the Princess Diaries and then Princess Diaries two. She finally stopped when I had picked up all the dialog to both movies and could mute the TV and do the voices myself, sometimes with sock puppets. She said something about me getting even creepier

Liking those movies is akin to liking George Bush - you're just blindly assuming they must be good because you are afraid to admit just how bad they are. The first Star Trek movie. That whole bald chick being posessed by V-ger thing was a little too cheesy. Now... The Wrath of Khan... that was a good movie.

+1

Plus many stupid comedies such as Saving Silverman, Joe Dirt, and Borat.

Constantine.

It was in heavy rotation before haloween and watched it, or parts of it, too many times.

flight of the conchords season 1 on DVD is constantly in my DVD rotation...I can't quit it.

No Man's Land (Charlie Sheen) is a good one too. Terrible Dialogue.

That made me laugh inappropriately at work.

I actually sat all the way through Mars Attacks yesterday.

For such a bad movie it has some really big named actors in it.

I think Mars Attacks is a great parody of overblown sci-fi blockbusters and a clever homage to cheesy 50s sci-fi, at the same time. But I think most people just think it's dumb.

Isn't that "Killer Clowns From Outer Space?" I hadn't seen it listed after 3 pages and was about to type it up... :) Yea, that's a pretty freaking awful movie..... Awfully funny!

Also - Judge Dredd!!! I never broke the law! I am the law!

Sorry, all I remember of the title is Killer Clowns, so I may have it wrong.

I love it when the sheriff, who thinks he's John Law, is done in by a silly clown.

That movie is absolutely one of the best of the 90s. If you give it a chance as more than a comedy it's one of the most thematically unified & best written "popular" films of the decade.

I have no love for Mars Attacks, though. I get that it's supposed to be a parody but it's still awful.

I love Grosse Pointe Blank, but I don't think it's a masterpiece of our era. I was thinking more like the Better Off Dead era of Cusack-tasticness.

Joan doesn't get the recognition she deserves; she makes any movie better.

I've only seen Idiocracy once, and at the time I thought it was god-awful. Then I started to think about the satire Mike Judge was giving us, and then I started to look around. I now regard that movie with the same respect I would give a social sciences text book. Well, ok, so I don't respect those either, but you can imagine.

Not sure if anyone said it yet, but Duel. Talk about a weird movie, but I can't shut it off.

Legally Blonde is another one

Anyone see that movie PCU? That's another one I can't turn off.

And Kudos to whoever said Judge Dredd. Anything with Diane Lane looking that cute is worth a watch.
