I was going to send this as a PM but then I figured a public plug wouldn't hurt. I bought my dad your Locost book for Christmas. He called me up today and said he finished it, really enjoyed it, and that it was one of the most entertaining & informative how-to type books he'd ever read! Had nothing but praise for it.
Now I kind of wish I'd read it before I wrapped it up and gave it away! Not that I would be so uncouth, mind you. Nope, never.
So, you posted here to pimp one of my books - and you're thanking me? Seems like it should be the other way round!
I appreciate it the kind words. The book seems to inspire half the people who read it and scare the other half off 
I bought it last week to help with my Formula car project. There's a lot of good stuff in there!
I have it on order and cant wait for it to come in...

Tonight I purchased some balsa to make a scale model frame.. Helps with motivation and it gives me something to do other then TV/net/homework/cleaning.

I also wanted to say thanks, wife had some returns from christmas to amazon and had some money for orders. Asked me if there was anything I wanted, your book was on that list, it is now sitting next to the bed for nighttime reading. She did, however, say when it arrived "Oh great, no something else for you to obsess over and can't afford"
