That's from a Z31 300zx if I'm not mistaken
One of the other tenants in my building has this late-'80s Olds Toronado with a built-in touch-screen CRT in the dash.
It's very much an old man car, and he's very much the type of old man who would drive an old man car, but that is still kinda cool.
No idea if it works anymore though. Most of them don't.
I can't find pics right now as I'm still at work, but my 83 Plymouth Sapporo Technica had a sweet digital dash. The speedometer wasn't working all the time, and therefore the cruise control wouldn't work, but the rest of it was fine. My friend Brad still owns that car. I miss it from time to time. FYI the car also has a talking function to warn you of things like lights being on, and door ajar.

I just noticed this has 500k on it and everything on the digi-dash still works. Impressive.
NASCAR's new abomination of a digital display...

Yes, I realize it's probably a mock-up. I don't care. The fact that *my* Peugeot doesn't have instrumentation like this is a crime against civilization.
I am very disappointed we did not get this future I was promised when I got lost at the auto show as a child. I love 80s concept cars.

The page that's from said there was a limit in the odometer on that dash. Care to guess.
my first car's dash
my 2nd car's dash
brings back memories searching google images for these.
with many new cars coming with lcd type screens to display gauge info, how hard would it really be to offer a few display options to cycle through, one being a super 80's to the max gauge pacakage????
