Great opening scene with Jeremy leaving the BBC
amazon video is lagging like hell for me. Anyone else? I can watch 4k youtube just fine but the amazon player keeps freezing.
Watching now. I hope they cut back on the gray filter from the first big part, but it looks great so far.
It just finished for me. Wow. It's a lot like top gear was, maybe too much, but it works so well.
The preview off things to come looks very interesting to. I'm really looking forward to that lifted mg playing off-road.
So far, OK. They need to work on their mojo a little.
The scene cuts are pretty choppy. The dialog is a little forced.
It does show promise, and it should come together.
Just finished it.
If they build from there, it should be a really good show. It has a lot of potential.

That's what I thought, they must have aired it a day early, because all the advertising was for the 18th.
The wife and I just finished. Needs some polish but all the old feeling is there. Nice to see the gang at it again. Man are they looking old (specifically Hammond)
Much better starting point then almost any other show in the world TBH, but rebuilding is needed and will come with time (have too much $$$$$$ not for it to get better lol)
I quite enjoyed it - especially that opening sequence where they were coming across El Mirage in the midst of every kind of car imaginable. I'm assuming it was El Mirage. Whatever. Not disappointed at all.
The sound editors were having some fun, that's for sure.

Same, 1080 youtube no problem this time of night but Amazon delivers potato video that's buffering half the time.
I also had prime crash on me twice. Not sure if it was my tv or prime itself--it happens with Netflix about once every 10 episodes.
Very happy with the show though.
I was rather disappointed with the "stig replacement" being a tired old troupe. Give me a non-talking, independent adjudicator, or Tiff Needell.

Stig is probably one of the few parts of Top Gear that the BBC owns the rights to, so it's not surprising that they had to be different.
I don't think the goatee is doing Hammond any favors.
Overall I liked it though.
The wife and I just finished watching Billy Bob in his 8 episode series called Goliath. It was slightly better than OK, which is a lot better than whats on regular TV.
