Sounds good. The other 4 might have theirs waiting for them in the mailbox.
Love mine. Thought it was neat how many cycling ones I got, especially since I have mavic wheels on my road bike. The harbor freight factory team, the akina speed stars, and the coffee mug wrench face were my top 3, but not by much because honestly all of them were awesome!!!
I actually have a Fidanza flywheel on the Locost. I was part of the original Group Buy on 4AG flywheels and they designed it for us. I was wondering what to do with the Hennessy sticker, then it dawned on me, I have a Honduh ATV. Perfect.
I declare this experiment a success! Maybe we shall do this each year?
My spread: (2x GRM stickers not pictured)
Trying to figure out what some of these are is a lot of fun.
I don't know what the eagle is - someone tell me.
I learned Five Eight is a band. Since I now have a sticker, I will have to sample some of their music.
Polar is "from a swedish rally car"
The small blue sticker is the one Dr. Hess was referencing
MPI is Max Papis Innovations and they make steering wheels
I thought it was a wrench and 2 beer mugs, not coffee? I don't see the face. Is it supposed to be a face?
In reply to ProDarwin :
The "eagle" is a merlin, and is the logo for Merlin Metal Works.
Internet Type GRM! I love it!
edit - maybe the coffee/beer mugs are in fact for tea, which is apparently crucial for excellent British fabrication.
Don't know how I got the pokemon ones, but they are awesome because I played a lot of go a few years back. Airports were the best.
The two coffee mugs and a wrench are MazDeuce's "think twice, wrench once"
Robbie - You getting both pokemon decals was pure coincidence, and the dork sticker was from David and I did a random draw to see who would get it.
STICKERZ!!!111
OMG I love my stickers! All are fantastic, though my faves are Mario Bullet (BulletBill!), Canoe Hunters, Marjorie's Patio (sounds like a cafe or an Arlo Guthrie song ), Chrysler Turbo logo (someone knows me well!), and last but definitely NOT least, Hello Punisher Kitty!
Holy crap this is an awesome haul! Thanks again everyone
definitely need to do this again and i agree about stepping up the game. some of these decals were on a totally different level so I'm going to have to bring my decal game to the next level lol
I did make strategic picks for people. I knew that mazdeuce and ECM were current/former turbo dodge owners, and the "unicorn of my destruction" had to go to the owner of the infamous R63. The canoe stickers were requested by the gifter to go to the mods in the exchange. Some of the others were totally random picks and it's happenstance that they were fitting choices.
For clarification on the "old school F1" (parmalat), it was lifted from one of my all-time favorite F1 cars- the Brabham BT52.
I know this one and the Polar one were pretty obscure. Next time I won't dig so deep into history for designs
Story time: There used to be a big traditional hot rod show once a year in October. I made some really good friends there. The first year, they said they didn't expect 100 cars, hence the name Hunnert Car Pile-up. (If you are from Chicago, you've heard hunnert.) By the 8th show, so many people tried to attend, that we were shut down by the Illinois State Police because the line waiting to get in was blocking over 2 miles of interstate 80.
The black square stickers with the El Camino were given out only at the one day show.
The small circles with the girl saying "OK" were placed on cars allowed into the show.
The Red Shirt Army was a nickname for all of us volunteers. We were given red shirts with specific, exclusive artwork on them. Those particular stickers were excitingly rare.
Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
Came home from Vietnam to find these waiting;
Two mugs and a wrench reminded me of Project Binky. Got a chuckle out of the buckle it up one and my favorite is the Internet Type GRM. Great job fellows, was a fun exchange!
So to explain some of the ones I created:
Yeah. Doom is 25 this year. I'm old.
