Jan Michel Vincent is dead at 74. He actually died in February of a heart attack, but the news is just being released. He had already lost a leg in 2012 due to a systemic infection. Decades of hard livin' had doubtless put a strain on his body.

A friend who goes to comic-conventions got a picture with him from a few years ago and just posted it onf FB. I wouldn't have recognized him.
I never would have taken 74 in a competition. 44 maybe. He looked horrible within a couple of years of his glory days.

To be fair, he has been dead for a long time...
