One of the things I've always missed from the golden age of internet forums is a chat box. Sometimes you don't want to bother starting a thread and waiting for responses. Sometimes, you want a quick answer, even knowing full well that you get what you pay for and free advice is worth every penny spent, yadda yadda yadda.
I'll start: Is it very, very bad to run power wiring directly adjacent to an ethernet cable? Seems to me it would be okay, but in this case I want to run ethernet and a power cord tied together for a length of some feet, purely for aesthetic reasons. The device in question is a smart tv. Will internet speed be degraded by reason of this proximity to 120 VAC?

It shouldn't, as long as all cables are properly shielded.
Shielding on ethernet is the twist of the wiring pairs around each other. It's not great shielding hence it's rating to only 350mhz vs true shielding like coax cable that's rated to 2ghz. By the book you're supposed to cross power perpendicular with ethernet. All that said in real world on short runs you probably won't see a difference.
Yes, UTP= Unshielded Twisted Pair, and I've never known consumer-grade power cords to be shielded, so no shielding here. If it doesn't work, I will separate them, but for now, both the power cord and the ethernet cable are twist-tied together for the drop from the wall mount to behind the mirror resting on top of the dresser. If it doesn't work, I will most assuredly hear about it.
Excellent!
Thread ready for next quick question!
I have a five stage belt-driven fuel pump for a dry sump system, but I only need three stages. I assume that running two stages dry is a terrible idea?
I was putting some leftover generator gas in my truck and saw a leaf fall in the filler. It is now exhibiting low fuel pressure symptoms. Change the fuel filter and send it or drop the tank? It is, of course, full.

Oil?
In reply to Slippery :
Yep, I'm recreating the dry sump system in my stock car.
In reply to AMiataCalledSteve :
Link the two so they feed each other and stay wet.
In reply to AMiataCalledSteve :
Who makes the pump? Can you email tech support? Call the 800-number?
It's a Weaver Bros pump, ctk339 has already sent me a source who can rebuild or work on them, I was just asking about dry chambering. Bearmtnmartin has a good solution, so in the spirit of this thread I say that's a good quick answer for a quick question!
If you have any other ideas or suggestions though, feel free to post them in my build thread.
Next question!

Chandler is the current Lotus Elite Type 75 collector.
I probably need the parts car next to it more...
You know those power tool battery adapters? The ones the people use to repower their kids' Power Wheels?
Every brand seems to have an adapter except for Skil. I have a Skil 20V Li-ion system and want to build my own LED work light.
The only Skil battery adapters I've found are crappy 3d printed ones from China of dubious quality.
Has anybody done this with a Skil battery or am I the only human on this planet who wants to do this?
Have a cheap Chinese one from Amazon for Dewalt. No fires yet.

Sometimes an application will suggest a Chinese product of dubious quality. I feel that adapting a power tool battery for a purpose it was never intended to fulfill may be one of those applications. I'd get one of the cheap ebay ones.

Anyone know what I need to adapt this plug to this plug?
Wall plug:
Extension cord for welder

You will find almost every possible adapter at your local RV/Trailer supply place. Should be under $30, but last I checked was pre-covid.
