Yeah, my current shingle roof is on it's deathbed, or so I suspect. If I go 30-year shingles to replace it, that will last as long as I need.

I don't mean to belabor the point, but 30 year shingles are sort of like a 100 year flood. It means something, but not necessarily what it sounds like it means.
Get the 30 year shingles.

You say non-sulfur? I've been learning about anaerobic bacteria that can live in a water heater and produce hydrogen sulfide gas. I'll let you know if I figure it out. Magnesium anode rods are said to be conducive to this bacteria's growth. Aluminum/zinc rods are supposed to discourage it.
So, what does your hot water smell like?
What the hell is this nylon brush thing called?
Nylon spiral brush? Nylon tube brush? Nylon ring brush?
I'm trying to source a few to build a cat self groomer for our cats but I can't find the correct nomenclature to be able to source it. I found some cheap dryer lint cleaner things on the eBay but they are tapered and only like 1.5" in diameter. I'd like to find some that are 3" in diameter.
Tube brushes? maybe

Specifically this one for the length you are going to need
So, if Kimchi wasn't one of the healthiest things to eat on Earth, would people still eat the stuff? Why?
In reply to 1988RedT2 :
Yes because it's wonderful. I like mine cold on top of a bowl of hot yellow rice. I cook the yellow rice with a can of Rotel tomatoes.
In reply to Stampie :
On top of a bowl of instant ramen; works particularly well with the Jin brand Korean ramen. Appropriately the flavor profiles just work out right.
But also right out of the jar.
What brand of Kimchi is the best? I had know a man that made his own and enjoyed the taste but never bought any from a store.
In reply to MyMiatas :
I made some once and it was pretty good, but my wife didn't care for the pungency it lent the basement while fermenting (and I don't blame her). I got started on King's, and these days mostly get the local-to-me Choi's and sometimes Lucky Foods' Seoul Kimchi. I prefer the napa cabbage to other available vegetables (the crinkly greens are my favorite part), and I tend to get "regular" as opposed to extra spicy, but of course YMMV.
If you've got something like an H Mart or other sizable Asian grocery nearby they'll have a variety, and it does vary a lot, from stuff that almost seems to be packed in pepper paste with very little acidity to much tangier stuff that's more conventionally "pickled-cabbage" seeming. Around here Choi's and Lucky seem to be common at average grocery stores.

Based upon years of observation, turn signal usage in general is obsolete and, except for rare exceptions, not seen since sometime in the last millennium.
Dusterbd13-michael said:What is the proper usage of turn signals in a roundabout? Everybody's turning right...
Bearing in mind that I drive on the wrong side of the road the lure here is to:
If you're taking the first exit signal as you enter the roundabout, if you're taking the second exit don't signal on entry but signal your exit as you pass the first, if you're taking the third (or further) signal you are proceeding around the roundabout until you pass the exit before yours and then signal your exit. NZ Rules
Short answer is who needs to know what you intend (you don't drive an Audi do you?)
We have a roundabout that's been here longer than most of the "intentional, traffic-engineering-driven" roundabouts; the road markings, based on straight or bent arrows, suggest that you signal that you're continuing around, but stop signaling to exit. I guess it makes sense in terms of tangents and centripetal force... I don't think it has anything to do with the proper use of roundabouts.
If, in attempting to remove and replace the disposable brush, the metal shaft pulls completely out of a Sonicare toothbrush, is the unit well and truly FUBAR?
I see videos on the tube of you's that show repairing a loose shaft, but not one that has popped completely out. I've disassembled, and short of JB Welding the thing together, see no way to put it right.
Has anyone found out how to make this work?
It can be done with expanding foam placed over it through a hole. But what chemical does GM,FORD use??
Assuming same/similar condition, options, and price. Do you buy a
2018 with 40,000 miles or
2021 with 65,000 miles
It will be a second car with low usage.

New water heater? Well water?
Is something to do with the anode. Had the issue at my old house. Here's the thread
